There really is nowhere like St Lucia for a destination wedding. I recently photographed Laura and Uk’s stunning wedding at the Sugar Beach Resort near Soufriere. The Sugar Beach Resort was formally the Jalousie Plantation. It was an old Sugar Plantation from the early days of St Lucia. The ruins of the old mill and plantation still visible on the property. The small bungalows and villas scattered throughout the property make for such a fantastic wedding venue and resort. Laura and Uk’s wedding took place on the sunset plaza at the top of the hill in-between the two Pitons overlooking the ocean below. Despite being a rainy day the wedding went off without a hitch and everyone had a wonderful time! The reception took place in the main dining room. This was such a beautiful venue. Rap around verandas gave a perfect view to the white sand beaches and crystal blue waters of the Caribbean. I loved working with these amazing families and guest, all of whom traveled from afar to be at this special occasion. I love photographing weddings in St Lucia and all over the world. It was such a pleasure to take part in this unique event!
