There really is nowhere like St Lucia for a destination wedding. I recently photographed Laura and Uk’s stunning wedding at the Sugar Beach Resort near Soufriere. The Sugar Beach Resort was formally the Jalousie Plantation. It was an old Sugar Plantation from the early days of St Lucia. The ruins of the old mill and plantation still visible on the property. The small bungalows and villas scattered throughout the property make for such a fantastic wedding venue and resort. I had the amazing opportunity to photograph a recent St Lucia wedding at the Sugar Beach Resort in St Lucia. The Caribbean is such an amazing place for a destination wedding. The crystal clear ocean and towering green pitons make for the perfect wedding location. When traveling to St Lucia or any of the other islands for a wedding its always a good idea to remember lots of sun block. Most of your day will be outside and although St Lucia gets great sunshine, remember its the tropics so it will be rainy pretty often too. This shouldn’t ever dampen…
