There are few places in the world as breathtaking as the Grand Canyon for a wedding. I was so thrilled to be the wedding photographer at the Grand Canyon wedding of Alexis and Ed. Perched on the mile high cliffs of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, Alexis and Ed were married with a group of their family and friends. and despite the fear of heights of a few in the group, the wedding ceremony was absolutely amazing. The wedding took place at a small peninsula with cliffs on all sides. The couple are both fire fighters and met years ago while working at the Grand Canyon. Having their wedding there had extra meaning to them, and made the day that much more special. Photographing them at the edge of the cliffs was both terrifying and amazing at the same time. It was only after I got away from the cliff that I shot them from that I realized what a crazy situation this was! Needless to say it was a wedding I will never forget. Alexis and Ed are an amazing couple and I had a fantastic time being their wedding photographer!
