I love photographing couples in Southern Utah. Zion National Park and Snow Canyon State Park are two of the best spots for red rock sandstone in Southern Utah. I loved photographing Macy and Heath for their engagement session in Snow Canyon. I don’t know if there is anywhere else as beautiful in Southern Utah. The best part about Snow Canyon compared to Zion is a lack of clouds. Zion is an amazing place to be sure. I like to think of Snow Canyon as a mini Zion. Macy and heath are a beautiful couple inside and out. So fun to…

I love photographing couples for their engagement photos. This beautiful engagement photo session in Snow Canyon State Park was no different. Courtney often wears a hat so she brought one along for some of the photos. It was so fun, and a great way to show a little bit of who she is. The two of them have such fun style, and amazing personalities. We laughed and joked as we hiked around the red rock and lava flows of Snow Canyon. The sandstone cliffs and formations always make for such an amazing time in Snow Canyon. I am constantly amazed…

I had a great time photographing this engagement session. When talking about Southern Utah, most people think first and foremost of the red rock cliffs and mesas of places like Zion National Park and Snow Canyon. I love the white sandstone area above Snow Canyon for its stark contrast to the typical red rock. When I’m photographing anyone in this area I love to get a good pop of contrast from what they are wearing. Jasmine & Erik came dressed to impress. Jasmine’s red and green dresses along with Erik in his tux looked amazing against the white desert landscape.…

I recently had the opportunity to photograph April & Connor’s bridal session starting at the LDS Temple in St George and then moving on to finish their bridal session in Snow Canyon State Park. I am a big fan of both of these locations. I love the architecture and grounds of the temple. I photograph weddings at the LDS Temple often and its always such a pleasure. Snow Canyon is one of my favorite places anywhere, and even more so when we get so lucky to have an amazing sky. The weather was pretty fantastic for photos with these two. They…

Zion National Park is the perfect place for a wedding. I love photographing weddings in Zion. People travel from all over the world to experience its towering sandstone cliffs, amazing vistas and breathtaking slot canyons. Zion has become known as one of the top destinations for a wedding and with its awe inspiring outdoor appeal it is no wonder why. The weather in Zion is some of the best in the world. I was so excited for Kelly and John to have their wedding at the beautiful Cliffrose Lodge just outside of Zion. Forevermore Events did an amazing job decorating…

It is no wonder that tourism to Zion National Park has skyrocketed over the past several years. As more people become familiar with Zion more and more people come to be married there. Jordan & Jackson knew they wanted to have their engagement session overlooking Zion. Im so glad they were up for the adventure! We lucked out with some incredible clouds in the sky for their engagement photos, adding an extra element of depth to what is already a spectacular background! I love the overlook with the famous sandstone cliffs of Zion in the background. The day was beautiful,…

I had the awesome opportunity to do a shoot that I had been thinking about doing for a long time. I love the colors associated with Morocco and the Mediterranean and wanted to convey the feel of a Moroccan wedding in a styled wedding shoot. I loved photographing this amazing inspirational shoot against the redneck slot canyons and cliffs of Southern Utah. The awe inspiring decor by Forevermore Events and Bloomers was absolutely incredible. The cake by Sweet Cakes by Karen was mind blowing and the food by Cappelettis was mouth watering and oh so beautiful. I love photographing weddings…

As a photographer I have the chance to photograph weddings in some amazing places. True North in Zion Utah is just one of those amazing places. Molly and Chris knew they wanted to have their wedding at Zion National Park. They both have a love for the outdoors and there really isn’t anywhere that encapsulates the beauty of nature like Zion National Park. Molly & Chris are both members of the US Navy and are true patriots. Their love for country mixed with their love of nature was carried throughout their wedding details and theme. Forevermore events did an amazing job…

Molly & Chris were recently married in a field overlooking Zion National Park. The wedding venue was True North which is up Kolob Terrace Road. This stunning venue was once a bar back in the 1950’s and is now really the only place in the area to have a wedding with the views looking down into Zion National Park. There really is no place like Zion. Most visitors to the park experience the main canyon of the park, but getting up to True North, one really gets to experience its beauty and majesty from a distance. The wedding of Molly…

Snow Canyon Overlook Engagement Photography I love photographing couples getting married in and around Southern Utah. Chelsea & Michael made the trek down from Cedar City where they live and will be having their wedding reception to have their engagements in Snow Canyon. This is one of my favorite state parks in Utah. It is absolutely stunning with its red rock sandstone cliffs and vast overlooks. I love the contrast of color and beautiful textures in the Lava rock, and different tones of rocks mixed with the trees and sage brush. Its no wonder that couples come from all over…

Small Wedding in Zion National Park Of all the places in the world they could choose to be married Britt & Kyle knew Zion National Park was the spot. Neither of them had actually ever stepped foot into Zion but its beauty and splendor was known to them. Their daughter was an important part of their special Elopement and was so wonderful in front of the camera. We explored around the park with the three of them a bit photographing the three of them as a family before heading to a Zion overlook spot for their actual ceremony with a…

True North is a wedding venue up Kolab Canyon on the back side of Zion National Park. I was so happy to photograph this fun County Fair inspired wedding at True North. Joann and Dimitri were such an easy going fun couple to photograph. Their families came from all over for this lovely destination wedding. The florals by Bloomers out of St George Utah were stunning. The show stopper for this wedding was definitely the backdrop which was hand made by Dimitri especially for the wedding. I see it as something with no beginning and no end which is perfect for…
