Zion Utah Engagement Photos Rehn and Nick both love the water. Their Zion River Engagement was a blast! I absolutely love photographing engagement sessions in Zion! These two will be getting married at Lake Havasu in 2019 where Rehn grew up. For their engagement photos, they knew they wanted to be by the water in some form or another. We decided on the combination of the beautiful scenery of Zion, and the beautiful virgin river. I always love photographing couples in and around water. Especially in the desert where water is so precious. It makes for such unique and fun…

Vintage Safari Wedding Inspiration Southern Utah Wedding Photographer I had the amazing opportunity to photograph this Old World Safari inspired wedding editorial. As a wedding photographer in Southern Utah I always try to make the most of our amazing desert landscape. I have always though how similar some locations look to what I imagine Africa looking like. I imagine an old world African Safari wedding with all of the amazing foods and textures and colors. It can be so great doing styled shoots in Southern Utah. I like to find fun new locations that tell a story. The wash where I decided…

Snow Canyon Utah Wedding Location Southern Utah Wedding Photographer Zion National Park is so appealing for weddings and adventure, but can often be busy with tourists. Less known, but equally spectacular in its own way, Snow Canyon State Park is an absolutely stunning location for a wedding. After photographing the first half of Brittney and Tyler’s pre wedding at the St George temple, we made the quick trip over to Snow Canyon to capture some of the splendor that Southern Utah has to offer. I always love photographing weddings and engagements in Snow Canyon. The towering sandstone cliffs of red…

Snow Canyon Utah Rainy Wedding Day Southern Utah Wedding Photographer Despite being a dark rainy day, I had such a great time photographing the wedding of Afton and Bryan. This was a destination wedding for the two. They were married at the St George Temple, where we meat up with all of their friends and family who visited from out of town. We then took the trip over to Snow Canyon to capture some of the beauty that Southern Utah has to offer. They are such a fun and dynamic couple. I had a great time taking them around to…

Over the years I have had the great opportunity to photograph some of Aimee’s good friends weddings. I was so happy when she contacted me about photographing this amazing time in her and Brandon’s lives. The two of them were to totally open to me choosing the location when it came to photographing their engagement session. I had scouted out this spot last year and had been waiting for the right shoot to do here. The white rock and unique formations were stunning. I love shooting in the desert at sunset. The light gets so perfect. We couldn’t have asked…

Zion National Park really is one of the most amazing places on the planet for a wedding. Joann and Dimitri came from out of town with their family to experience its wonder and beauty for their wedding day. They tied the knot in their own unique way with a wooden hand made circular backdrop and a fun State Fair themed Party after. What a fun idea for a wedding, and so enjoyable for the kids and the kids in everyone! They were a beautiful couple and were only matched by the beauty of Zion National Park. Having elements that are…

Photographing the engagement session of these two was amazing. Southern Utah is a destination for so many wanting a taste of the awe inspiring south west. Oriana and Phillip made the trip down from Salt Lake City for their engagement photos in the beautiful red rocks of Southern Utah. Taking pictures in Snow Canyon State Park for their engagement session was such a blast. They are an adventurous couple and even brought their dog along for a few shots. I love the huge dream catcher that Oriana made by hand for the shoot. Despite a little wind it worked beautifully for…

Photographing Alexa for her bridals at Snow Canyon was an absolute delight. Her gorgeous dress from “The Brides’Shop” in Salt Lake was a real stunner against the lava and red rock of Southern Utah. I always love being able to photograph beautiful brides in dresses that have a timeless feel to them. She chose a classically romantic soft updo by the talented stylist Julie Thomas. Her great style carried over to her gorgeous bouquet of flowers, that was created by Alexa and her sister. I had been looking forward to shooting the bridals after photographing her great engagement session with…

Tanier and Sol’s Groomal session in Snow Canyon and at the St George Temple were beautiful. Southern Utah is home for Tanier, and Sol comes from Hawaii. They are both so much fun and a real treat to photograph. I love the towering red cliffs of Snow Canyon and all of the unique colors and textures that it offers. The St George LDS Temple is so beautiful. The 19th century architecture is timeless.

Photographing weddings in Zion is always a treat. This wedding at True North on the Kolob side of Zion was so beautiful. The landscapes surrounding True North are breathtaking. Down the Kolob Reservoir Road near Virgin Utah one comes across True North and its beautiful surroundings. I was so happy to photograph Emily and Dustin and their small destination wedding. Their friends and family came together to celebrate not only the union of this couple but the union of their small families into one. Their fun cake made out of donuts and simple but beautiful flower arrangements of babies breath made…

Traveling to Logandale to do photos is always great. I have had the opportunity to photograph the Cannon family on a few different occasions. They are an awesome family and so great to work with. They live in Logandale and wanted to have something different then the normal desert look. In Logandale there is an lot pine tree farm that was for a subdivision that never happened. The trees are big and beautiful and are one of my favorite parts of the city.
