Wedding at the Utah State Capital SLC Wedding Photographer The Utah State Capital is an amazing building full of fantastic architecture and charm. It is right up the hill from the Salt Lake Temple, which was perfect for these two. Jasmine and Erik’s wedding day began at the Salt Lake LDS Temple. From there they had their reception for their wedding at the Utah State Capital. I loved photographing Jasmine and Erik’s reception at the Utah State Capital Building. The Capital building is an absolutely unique and regal location for a wedding. A rainy wedding day Jasmine and Erik’s day started at the Salt Lake City LDS Temple just blocks…

Utah State Capital Engagement Photos SLC Wedding Photographer I love photographing Utah State Capital Engagement sessions. Few places in Utah have the grand Greco Roman architecture of the Utah Capital building in Salt Lake City. I love the colors, lines and texture of the capital building. I was so glad when Andy and Lin decided they wanted some of their engagement photos at the Capital Building. We photographed the second half of their session at the capital. We had so much rain as we were driving there from Silverlake. I was so worried we wouldn’t be able to photograph them at the Capital…

Utah Indian Sikh Wedding Indian Wedding Photographer I recently had the absolute pleasure to photograph a stunning Indian Wedding at the Grand America in Salt Lake City Utah. The Grand America is a stunning venue for any wedding, but was perfect for this amazing Indian wedding. I have photographed other Hindu weddings in the past, but this was the first Sikh Wedding I have had the pleasure to photograph. They are so different from one another. Both have the beautiful and vibrant prints and colors that Indian weddings are known for, but it was wonderful learning about this different culture…

I was so excited to get to work with Courtney and Kirk again for their pre wedding photo session at The Avenues above Salt Lake City. We had originally planned to shoot at Tibble Fork Reservoir up the Alpine Loop, but due to some less then ideal stormy weather we decided to keep it close to home for Courtney & Kirk. They live just down the street from the avenues so it was a perfect spot for their bridal session. A couple months prior they made the trip down to Southern Utah where we photographed their engagement session in Snow Canyon.…

Garden Park Ward near downtown Salt Lake City was perfect for Madeline and Brandon’s Engagement Pictures. Madeline’s mother is a photographer so she was so happy to be in front of the camera. I love the atmosphere that Garden Park provides. The landscape is mature and beautiful and there are so many great and unique features. These session was photographed in the early spring but before the leaves had begun to grow. I love the look with the beautiful way they are dressed and in such light sweet colors. Engagement photos are a real chance for a couple to show…

I loved photographing Sydney and Davis’ Salt Lake Country Club Wedding Reception and pictures after they came out of the SLC Temple. The Country Club in SLC is absolutely beautiful. The large ball room area and multiple other rooms make for the perfect wedding Venue. The Country Club is one of the oldest and most prestigious clubs in the western United States, established in 1899. The Club has a long history of excellence and offers a beautiful space indoors and out for weddings. The Temple is always a beautiful spot, and I was so thankful for beautiful, if not cold weather.…

The fabulous team at Mood Events shares with us a little about their design concept and how they brought their vision to life: It’s difficult to select just one style to describe the overall look and feel of this fall photo shoot. Altogether, it is an eclectic mix of styles and various elements that form a cohesive and non-traditional fall-inspired look. Some of the styles incorporated into the overall design aesthetic include rustic and natural elements, modern patterns, whimsical flower arrangements and bold colors, honey, bees, fruits, berries and grains to invoke a sense of harvest and bounty, and lets…

Sarah and Leslie were married in the beautiful Salt Lake City Temple. I have loved working with these two over the past few months. We did their engagement photos earlier this year at the beautiful garden park ward in sugar house, as suburb of Salt Lake City. I always love doing pictures up north and shooting weddings at the Temple. They had their reception at the very popular and very cool Noah’s, where they also had a small ring ceremony. All in all it was a beautiful day and a lot of fun.

I had the opportunity to go to Salt Lake City to photograph Sarah and Leslie’s Engagement session at the Garden Park Ward in Sugarhouse. This building and its landscape are so unique and beautiful. Beautiful architecture, gardens, and water features make it the perfect wedding and photography spot. There are amazing ponds and waterfalls along with great architecture from the early 1920’s. Sarah and Leslie were a great couple to work with. Botha lot of fun, and very much in love!

I was lucky enough to be able to shoot Miles and Bethany’s engagement in SLC around the Capital Building. The Capital is such an amazing place. We were lucky enough to have an amazing sunset and perfect fall colors.

Summer and Brandon are one of my favorite couples. They both do long distance biking, and actually met on a bike. Summer is a serious trooper, she was sick the day of her bridals, but toughed through it like a champ. So much fun, and you cant beat the beautiful backdrop.

This Bridal session took place at the Garden Park Ward near downtown SLC. I had the great opportunity to work with Melissa and Jonathan on their Bridal session. From the lace dress and tan suit, to the flowers, do the jewelry, they had a great vintage feel, and were super photogenic. Im looking forward to their wedding this weekend! These are just a few pages from their bridal album.
