I don’t think its a secret that I absolutely love photographing weddings in Charleston South Carolina. I love the history and the palpable charm that is in the air. Nicole and Ben had their Southern wedding at Lowndes Grove Plantation. Nestled near the center of downtown Charleston, Lowndes Grove is an old world house trapped in time. The location of the grounds on the waters edge with its long dock is just so quintessential Charleston. The old manner house is a perfect representation of Southern charm. I had the awesome opportunity to work with A Charleston Bride for this wedding.…

McCrady’s restaurant in downtown Charleston was the perfect spot for Nicole and Ben’s pre wedding rehearsal dinner. Wedding planners “A Charleston Bride” did such a fantastic and fun setup for this beautiful dinner in the historic french district of Charleston. I loved the Black and Yellow accented with lemons and floral. It felt so light and fresh. The evening was beautiful with toasts and mingling. I love getting to photograph rehearsal dinners. They are a stress free event where everyone is having a great time. This one was so much fun. Like much of Charleston, McCrady’s has some really fun…

Photographing Lauren & Tylers wedding elopement at Middleton Place in Charleston South Carolina was an absolutely amazing experience! Middleton Place has been a venue for weddings for over 250 years. Hundreds of southern live oaks draped in Spanish moss, and the oldest gardens in the United States make for a stunning wedding venue that is overflowing with Southern charm . A grand house built in 1755, terraced lawns and blooming color, all combine to provide a location of exceptional beauty and elegance. For an intimate gathering or a grand affair, Middleton Place can create the perfect event. The beautiful Middleton Oak, which is estimated…

I recently had the chance to travel back to Charleston SC to photograph the wedding elopement of Lauren & Tyler at Middleton Place. Middleton Place is one of the oldest plantations in the south and boast the oldest gardens in the United States. The Gardens, which Henry Middleton envisioned and began to create in 1741, reflect the grand classic style that remained in vogue in Europe and England into the early part of the 18th century. Rational order, geometry and balance; vistas, focal points and surprises were all part of the garden design. To this day the gardens of Middleton…

I was so excited to get to work with Courtney and Kirk again for their pre wedding photo session at The Avenues above Salt Lake City. We had originally planned to shoot at Tibble Fork Reservoir up the Alpine Loop, but due to some less then ideal stormy weather we decided to keep it close to home for Courtney & Kirk. They live just down the street from the avenues so it was a perfect spot for their bridal session. A couple months prior they made the trip down to Southern Utah where we photographed their engagement session in Snow Canyon.…

The day after photographing their wedding at Memory Grove in Salt Lake City I reunited with Madeline and Brandon for a wonderful honeymoon bridal session. I love day after wedding sessions. They are so intimate and special. Its a wonderful opportunity to get some amazing wedding style photos in locations that on the wedding day would not be possible. This spot above the avenues overlooking Salt Lake is a hidden jewel. I love the rolling hills and fields. You would never think its practically in the city. Madeline’s wedding gown was stunning and I love the casualness of Brandons suit…

Kaitlyn and Sean really are too much fun. I loved every moment of this engagement session. We started at their cute apartment downtown in Salt Lake City for the engagement photos and moved up the avenues for some beautiful views of the city below and the hills above. What a dreamy spot. Kaitlyn and Sean are just so enjoyable to work with. We laughed and had a blast. I really felt like they were just such genuinely good people. Being beautiful on top of that might just be too much! I loved their style and fun attitude for the engagement…

Stephanie and Joel’s Bridal pictures at “This Is The Place” were so fun! Their wedding is also at This Is The Place and I’m looking forward to sharing those photos as well. Salt Lake City is a wonderful place for a wedding and the Heritage Park at This Is The Place is one of my favorite venues. We recently did their engagement photos in Salt Lake City and I just love working with these two. The Heritage Park is filled with amazing old buildings from around SLC and it makes for such a wonderful backdrop for photos. Stephanie’s dress was absolutely…

Stephanie and Joel chose to do their engagement photos in Downtown Salt Lake City and in the hills above the avenues. These to photograph so amazing. They are so much fun to work with, and most of our session involved laughing and just having a great time. I love the photo with the Utah Trax passing by in the background. The colors are just perfect. Stephanie and Joel are a beautiful couple and I look forward to sharing their bridal photos and wedding photos with you soon.

I always love photographing couples in Salt Lake and really dig the Garden Park Ward for engagements and bridals. For Ashton and Mitchell’s engagement pictures we started in the late afternoon and ended up with a couple of outfit changes. They have such great chemistry and style. This session really was so much fun. NP Films was also there doing a love story engagement video for them it was a whole lot of laughing and a lot of fun. Nate ( of NP Films) Does awesome work and is always great to work with. I also had the chance to photograph…

Photographing Taylor and Chase over the last several months has been an absolute pleasure. I love how kind and fun these two are not only with each other but with everyone around them. Their wedding day started at the St George Temple where we did all of their group and wedding party photos. We took a walk around the temple grounds and photographed the two of them. We then met back up later that afternoon after they had had a Swig break to do some photos around Tonaquint Gardens where their reception and luncheon took place. They had a short…
