I was so excited to get to work with Courtney and Kirk again for their pre wedding photo session at The Avenues above Salt Lake City. We had originally planned to shoot at Tibble Fork Reservoir up the Alpine Loop, but due to some less then ideal stormy weather we decided to keep it close to home for Courtney & Kirk. They live just down the street from the avenues so it was a perfect spot for their bridal session. The day after photographing their wedding at Memory Grove in Salt Lake City I reunited with Madeline and Brandon for a wonderful honeymoon bridal session. I love day after wedding sessions. They are so intimate and special. Its a wonderful opportunity to get some amazing wedding style photos in locations that on the wedding day would not be possible. One of the most beautiful locations for a wedding and nestled in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City is Memory Grove. The vast green lawns, meandering stream and amazing architecture make for such a wonderful wedding venue. Madeline and Brandon were married at one of the sites on the grounds. Photographing Ashton in Salt Lake City near the Court House in her custom made wedding dress and Mitchell in his tailored tux was awesome. The Garden Place at This Is The Place is a wedding photography dream. The venue is perfect for large weddings with a great rustic barn feel.
