It no wonder that people travel from all over the world to visit Southern Utah and partake of its splendor. Snow Canyon State Park has to be one of the most stunning places on the planet! When Jordan & Jackson decided they wanted to have their per wedding photos taken there I was beyond excited. As many times as I have explored the park, it continues to amaze me. I loved getting to introduce them to some new beautiful spots and enjoyed spending time with the two of them as we captured this amazing time in their lives! Because the…

When thinking of Southern Utah for Engagement or Wedding photos most automatically think of the desert red rocks. St George can offer such a wide variety of looks though for these beautiful photo sessions. I often ask couples that I am photographing what kind of a look or a feel they want to go for. Many love the red rock look, which is great and obviously so prevalent throughout Southern Utah. There are those though that want to have lush landscapes of life with lots of green. The rivers that flow through the area have brought people here since the…

Maddy and Landon made the recent trip up from Las Vegas to do their engagement photos in the beautiful lava fields by Snow Canyon in Southern Utah. They are such a fun couple and were so great to be around. We had a great photo session full of laughs and beautiful backdrops. Utah has such a vast variety of landscapes and stunning backdrops for engagement photos. I love that each one can be different and unique. Maddy and Landon’s fun loving personalities and love for each other shine through in their engagement photo session.

Photographing Nora & George’s Engagement session in Snow Canyon State Park was an absolute blast! The two are geologists and don’t live in the area but wanted to come down to Southern Utah and take advantage of some of the amazing Snow Canyon rock formations and scenery. I love Southern Utah and all of the beautiful color and texture it has to offer. The rock formations are so unique, and it is no wonder that people travel from all over to enjoy its beauty. Nora and George were so much fun and even brought their dog with them for a…

Snow Canyon State Park is a wonderful spot for engagement and wedding photos. It is a 7,400-acre scenic park quietly tucked amid lava flows and soaring sandstone cliffs in a strikingly colorful and fragile desert environment. Majestic views and the subtle interplay of light, shadow, and color dancing across canyon walls evoke strong emotional responses. I loved exploring around Snow Canyon with Courtney and Kirk for their engagement photography session. We went from the black lava rock and petrified sand dunes to the white sandstone cliffs of Snow Canyon. Courtney and Kirk are so in love and are honestly the…

There is no shortage of stunning red rock locations in Souther Utah. Erin & John knew that they wanted to be surrounded by the walls of sandstone for their engagement photos. The two are going to school at BYU, though Erin’s family live in the St George area. They will be married in Southern Utah and I’m so thrilled for them. John is such a gentleman and seems to truly respect and love everything about Erin. Erin is so sweet and so much fun. I loved laughing with these two while photographing their engagement session in Southern Utah!

High above the red sandstone cliffs of Zion Canyon, Zion National Park stretches for countless miles filled with amazing wonders around every bend. Braden who is from Southern California proposed to Sarah in Zion, so they knew they wanted to have their engagement photos done there. I had been exploring there recently and had come across a few spots I knew I wanted to shoot at. There is much more to Zion then the famous canyon of sandstone, which of course I love. We took off adventuring to some of these less traveled spots in the park and ended up…

I am lucky enough to photograph a lot of weddings and couples in and around St George and Southern Utah. One of my favorite spots that I am constantly drawn to is Snow Canyon. There is just something about the red sandstone cliffs and amazing contrast of colors with the green trees and grey desert sage that is amazing. I always try to photograph something new and fresh or in a different way. Snow Canyon is the perfect place for photos. When Lauren and Stephen contacted me about doing their pre wedding bridal session in Southern Utah at Snow Canyon near…

Photographing couples in Snow Canyon always amazes me. The landscape is so diverse and inspiring. Kelly and John made the trek from Las Vegas to Southern Utah to capture their engagement photos. They are both dental students in Vegas but wanted a change of scenery. Their engagement photos were so beautiful despite the fact that we ran into a spell of very cold windy weather. It was a chilly day to be sure but we still had a blast and took in the environment and amazing scenery that Southern Utah has to offer. There are some iconic spots in the…

I have photographed Cassidy many times over the years and have loved working with her and Aaron as a couple. We did their engagement photography session outside of Zion for a beautiful Zion overlook engagement session. These two are just so much fun! They are an absolute joy to be around. In their case opposites did not attract. They are both so funny, and fun, and beautiful and are all around genuinely kind and caring people. Grafton was such a special place for their pre wedding photography session. Cassidy’s family lived in the Grafton ghost town before it was a ghost town.…

Its not often that the snow falls in Southern Utah but when it does it can make for some pretty spectacular photos. I love the look of the snow on the saturated sandstone cliffs. I was pretty excited to photograph the engagement recently of Sarah & Braden in Zion National Park. The snow was on the ground yet the temperature was a perfect 70 degrees outside. We took off on an engagement photo adventure and came up with some pretty awesome images to document the love that these two share. Keep posted for more photos from this beautiful couples engagement…
