I don’t think its a secret that I absolutely love photographing weddings in Charleston South Carolina. I love the history and the palpable charm that is in the air. Nicole and Ben had their Southern wedding at Lowndes Grove Plantation. Nestled near the center of downtown Charleston, Lowndes Grove is an old world house trapped in time. The location of the grounds on the waters edge with its long dock is just so quintessential Charleston. The old manner house is a perfect representation of Southern charm. I had the awesome opportunity to work with A Charleston Bride for this wedding.…

McCrady’s restaurant in downtown Charleston was the perfect spot for Nicole and Ben’s pre wedding rehearsal dinner. Wedding planners “A Charleston Bride” did such a fantastic and fun setup for this beautiful dinner in the historic french district of Charleston. I loved the Black and Yellow accented with lemons and floral. It felt so light and fresh. The evening was beautiful with toasts and mingling. I love getting to photograph rehearsal dinners. They are a stress free event where everyone is having a great time. This one was so much fun. Like much of Charleston, McCrady’s has some really fun…

I recently had the chance to travel back to Charleston SC to photograph the wedding elopement of Lauren & Tyler at Middleton Place. Middleton Place is one of the oldest plantations in the south and boast the oldest gardens in the United States. The Gardens, which Henry Middleton envisioned and began to create in 1741, reflect the grand classic style that remained in vogue in Europe and England into the early part of the 18th century. Rational order, geometry and balance; vistas, focal points and surprises were all part of the garden design. To this day the gardens of Middleton…

Last year I flew out to Charleston to photograph their engagement session and instantly hit it off with this amazing couple. They are just so much fun and are really an amazing pair. Kaitlyn is a elementary art teacher and Chris…

I absolutely love the South and Charleston in particular has a special place in my heart. I have had opportunities to come to Charleston in the past both for engagement photos in the historic downtown and weddings both at the beach and weddings at old plantations. I am so thrilled to be photographing the wedding on Nicole and Ben in a few months. “A Charleston Bride“, one of the…

What is even more stunning then Charleston are Kaitlyn and Chris! Stephanie and Louie’s Wedding is hands down one of my favorites of the year! This was a beach party from start to finish in true Southern fashion!
