Shane and Gayane’s Proposal at Open Sky Zion + Sunset Engagement Photos With Epic Zion Views
Shane planned an incredible proposal for Gayane at Open Sky Zion, and it could not have come together more beautifully. He proposed at the resort first, and after that we headed out for engagement photos with some of the most epic Zion views in Southern Utah.
This was such a fun session to photograph because it had everything. The emotion of the proposal, the private resort setting, golden light, dramatic desert rock, and a sunset sky that went absolutely crazy with color. It felt like two sessions in one, and together it told the full story of such a big day for them.

After the proposal, we headed out for engagement photos with wide open views and classic Zion area landscapes. The red rock cliffs, desert textures, and open slickrock gave us an incredible backdrop for portraits that feel romantic and adventurous.
Shane and Gayane looked amazing together, and the color palette worked so well with the landscape. Her deep red dress stood out beautifully against the warm rock and pastel sunset sky, and their gallery has that perfect mix of candid moments and dramatic portraits.
