When couples from out of town tell me they want photos somewhere with red rocks, somewhere that really says Southern Utah, Snow Canyon automatically comes to mind. The sand dunes, the black lava rock, the sage brush and red sand stone cliffs really are an amazing specimen of Southern Utah. Jessica and Matt have been married for several years and recently moved to the area. They were a great couple to work with and I loved seeing them still so in love!
Year round Snow Canyon is a perfect place for family photos. It is always beautiful. The red rock cliffs and amazing views make for the perfect location for any kind of pictures. One of my favorite sessions of each year is photographing the Moore Family. This year we photographed their family at the Kayenta Reservoir. It is a beautiful spot and is a great contrast to some of their previous sessions. I have been working with the Moores for about five years now. We first photographed their family not far from where this session took place. Katelyn and Erik’s engagement session was a destination affair for these two. We photographed their session in Snow Canyon State Park . The pictures in the red rocks and black lava rock turned out beautiful. I loved working with these two. Katelyn and Erik’s wedding will be taking place in Zion later this year and I’m so looking forward to being at The Cliffrose to see Forevermore Events work their wedding magic! I recently photographed this wonderful family in Santa Clara Utah. Last year I had the opportunity to shoot their wedding photos and was so glad for the opportunity to work with them again. I loved photographing Theresa and Scotts engagement session in Snow Canyon recently. They are such a beautiful couple. I had a fantastic time photographing the Larson families reunion. The chose to do the photos at the red rock recreation area. Southern Utah has such an amazing views and scenery and is perfect for any photography session.
This time of year I like many photographers get slammed with family shoots. Its a fun little change. Jennifer and Ricks family were fantastic to work with. I felt like we were shooting an ad campaign with these guys. Each one was so photogenic.
