Photographing couples in Snow Canyon always amazes me. The landscape is so diverse and inspiring. Kelly and John made the trek from Las Vegas to Southern Utah to capture their engagement photos. They are both dental students in Vegas but wanted a change of scenery. Their engagement photos were so beautiful despite the fact that we ran into a spell of very cold windy weather. It was a chilly day to be sure but we still had a blast and took in the environment and amazing scenery that Southern Utah has to offer. There are some iconic spots in the canyon that couples really love but I always try to photograph something new and fresh in the canyon. There is literally so much variety there that its never hard to do. More then that though its always my goal to photograph the essence of who a couple is. I love to photograph personalities and to capture on camera who they really are. Their love and devotion, their laughter, and their romance. Kelly and John are such a beautiful couple it wasn’t hard to make them look good. Im so looking forward to photographing their wedding later this year.
