Being a wedding photographer in Utah lends to so many possibilities for amazing locations. For Abby and Mikes engagement photography we decided to do something very outdoorsy but with a Southern Utah feel to it. They loved the idea of being near the water. We started the session on a bit of an adventure and ended up in a wash and small stream. The previous week we had some heavy flooding in St George so this area looked different then any time I had been there in the past. It was a lot of fun minus the quicksand that we had to deal with! We finished their engagement photos down by the lake with the beautiful desert scenery reflecting off of the glassy water. I love photographing fun couples like these two. Abby is the cousin of one of my former clients who’s wedding I photographed. I felt like we immediately hit it off and loved working with Abby and Mike. Im so looking forward to photographing their Bridal session in the near future.
