Chantelle & Macrae are both from Southern Utah and knew they wanted their engagement photos in Snow Canyon. I always love photographing red rock engagement photos. Snow Canyon with its stunning sandstone cliffs is the perfect spot for an afternoon engagement photo session. Chantelle and Macrae have such awesome personalities. They are so fun to photograph and are obviously a stunning couple. I loved Chantelle’s red dress that she wore for the second half of her photos. We started their photos in the white rock area of Snow Canyon, which is always a beautiful spot. I love the contrast it provides. Its so different from the red rock area. The white rock area of Snow Canyon is the reason that Snow Canyon is named what it is.
Engagement photos in Snow Canyon
The red rock sandstone cliffs are what people are most familiar with. The white rock area though is absolutely amazing. Its full of black lava rock, trees and shrubs. The desert vibe and low contrast of the white rock are stunning. I also love that there are great viewpoints back into Snow Canyon. White rock engagement photo sessions are awesome, but I also loved the red rock with these two. After leaving the white rock area of Snow Canyon, we traveled to the red rock area. Their choice of casual cloths for the white rock area were great. I loved the adventure with these two of capturing their engagement photos in Snow Canyon.
