After getting my 5D (camera) last year I wanted to have a little fun with the video. I was down in San Diego shooting a couple of Weddings in May, and asked my friend Nathan Petty if I could tag along on one of his weddings and shoot some video. Nathan is a great San Diego Photographer, and was happy to oblige. This was my first time shooting video. I was just there to experiment and have some fun. I had a great time, and the couple Ashley and John were fantastic. It was a beautiful Wedding at The Rancho Buena Vista Adobe. Now, I am not a Videographer. My good friend Nate Pickett who is an awesome Videographer, was nice enough to help me out with this edit.

The Engagement Video * NP Films *

Nate of Nathan Pickett Films, and I had a great time shooting Stephanie and Brandon. We did a little give away for a free engagement session, I shot the stills, he shot the video, and this is the result. Its great to see what comes from a totally different point of view. We were both shooting 5D Mark II’s. Cant go wrong with this camera.  Nate is super talented, and just an all around great guy. It blows my mind to see his work, and how its so far beyond the traditional wedding videography . It really is a fantastic complement to the photography side of it. I look forward to doing more work with him in the future. As for Stephanie and Brandon, their wedding isn’t until this summer in Maryland… but Im sure it will be fantastic.
