I had the opportunity to shoot Katie and Chris’ wedding in Napa Valley a few years ago, and love working with them. Aiden recently turned one, and these are a few of the photos we took from their family session in San Diego.
Dinos at Waipio Vally

On a recent trip to The Big Island of Hawaii we took a drive down to the black sand beaches of Waipio Vally. My kids are obsessed with Dinosaurs, and were asking me if there were any dinosaur bones there, and if dines used to live there. Thought it would be fun to help there imaginations a bit. They went nuts over these photos.

This time of year I like many photographers get slammed with family shoots. Its a fun little change. Jennifer and Ricks family were fantastic to work with. I felt like we were shooting an ad campaign with these guys. Each one was so photogenic.

I grew up in Southern California and have grown my business to Southern Utah and beyond over the past eight years. I live every day for my beautiful wife and four wonderful boys. I am a people person, and enjoy working closely with couples, and capturing the essence of who they are. When it comes to photographing a couple, I look past the outward appearance for the love and emotion that drives them. I strive to create a fun and spontaneous atmosphere and a collection of images that convey each moment, and every detail in an artistic and truthful manner.
