The Engagement Video * NP Films *

Nate of Nathan Pickett Films, and I had a great time shooting Stephanie and Brandon. We did a little give away for a free engagement session, I shot the stills, he shot the video, and this is the result. Its great to see what comes from a totally different point of view. We were both shooting 5D Mark II’s. Cant go wrong with this camera.  Nate is super talented, and just an all around great guy. It blows my mind to see his work, and how its so far beyond the traditional wedding videography . It really is a fantastic complement to the photography side of it. I look forward to doing more work with him in the future. As for Stephanie and Brandon, their wedding isn’t until this summer in Maryland… but Im sure it will be fantastic.

So about three weeks ago I announced on the blog that I was doing a free Engagement shoot with Nate of Nathan Pickett films. Stephanie and Brandon ended up being our lucky couple. We had a blast. They were so fun to be around. There was no shortage of laughter. I put up a ton of shots, partly because I really enjoyed them, but also because both Stephanie and Brandon are from the east coast. This way their families will get to enjoy them as well. Thanks to everyone who sent in a submission. It was so hard to choose a couple for this shoot. One of the big reasons we did it was for the video portion. It will be posted very soon. Keep watching the blog… you never know when we might be doing another one of these.

I had a fantastic time with Jessica and David. We met up in SLC and had a blast. I look forward to the Wedding day in San Diego in December.
